Paper Submission Disclaimer

By uploading a paper or research work (“Work”) to Brownbag, you hereby represent, warrant, and covenant that:

• You own or possess all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions required to submit such Work to the Platform.
• You have confirmed your right to submit the Work, particularly in cases where the Work has been or will be published elsewhere, and have verified any applicable publisher agreements or restrictions.
• The submission of the Work does not violate any agreement with publishers, academic institutions, or other third parties.
• You understand and acknowledge that Brownbag cannot and does not verify rights or permissions for submitted Works, and that you bear sole responsibility for ensuring proper authorization exists for submission.

You understand that any Work you upload to Brownbag will identify you as the uploader or author (as applicable). In the event we receive a complaint regarding copyright or intellectual property rights concerning your submission, we reserve the right to immediately remove the Work from the Platform and forward the complaint to you as the uploader and responsible party.

You agree to indemnify and hold Brownbag harmless from any claims arising from unauthorized submission of Works.
